GRAPHICS4CHANGE
In an era where we have to compete with multi-million dollar ad campaigns, it's time for us to arm even our lowest level of politicians with dynamic graphics while helping them avoid using AI.
If there are [left-wing] candidates running and need better graphics for their campaign (flyers for IRL and online) or maybe you need overall branding help and you have a strict budget, please let me know β¨οΈ

2020 San Antonio MLK Youth Summit
In 2020, I was asked by a customer if I could assist with the advertising for the MLK Youth Summit in 2020.
It was a very fast-paced project with a quick turnaround that involved flyers for in-person advertising, web ad materials, and a 10 ft banner (not pictured).
It was a very fun project that I partnered with the City of San Antonio for.
REPLACING AI
A group I was volunteering with was using ChatGPT to generate posters and they were running into issues because whenever they needed to generate an alternate poster in another language or needed to go in and add sponsors, the queue would fail to generate it and/or it would generate completely different flyers.
I was tasked to create working copies of their different flyers and as a bonus I also created clear/PNG logos for them to use on any future project.
A TALE OF TWO GRAPHICS
In addition to the MLK Youth Summit, I was also commissioned to help flyers and tickets for the Literary Empowerment Networking Summit.
At the time I pitched the flyers, one group preferred the blue flyer and the other preferred the maroon one, so they used both.
When asked to do the graphic for their tickets, they asked me to find a way to represent both graphics on the tickets.
CAMP REJECTZ
Camp Rejectz was a 10-hr music festival I ran in 2023 at my local arts center.
The central idea for the festival was to highlight the expansive, underground rock community we had in San Antonio at the time. I'd see bands play and they didn't quite "fit" the lineups of other shows, so their talents weren't being highlighted.
That lack of "fit" inspired the name "Rejectz" and I thought it would be cool to make it "camp" since it was 10 hrs long.
Green really fit the "camp" theme and was just edgy enough to match our bands' energies.
KING POETRY SLAM
For the same MLK Youth Summit organizer, I was also asked to do a rush order on their poetry slam flyer.
I was told to create a more modern and hip-hop oriented flyer that was still reflective of it being related to the MLK Day events.
